Education & Outreach Program Overview
The Solano RCD’s environmental education program impacts thousands of Solano County residents in their classrooms, in regional parks and open spaces, and at their drinking water source.

Watershed Explorers
Watershed Explorers is an introductory program for third grade students covering basic ecological concepts and stewardship practices.

Suisun Marsh
The Suisun Marsh Watershed Education Program engages sixth and seventh grade students in exploring the Suisun Marsh and their connection to it through four classroom presentations and a field trip to Rush Ranch Open Space.

Biomonitoring
The Solano County Biomonitoring Program engages high school students in a hands-on analysis of local watersheds.

SWEP
The School Water Education Program (SWEP) provides education to K-12 students on their drinking water, storm water, and water conservation.
