Volunteers standing by trash collected at Markley Cove boat launch.Solano Resource Conservation District coordinates the annual Coastal Cleanup Day event at Lake Berryessa. Help protect Solano County's most important water supply from litter pollution on Saturday, September 18 from 9am to 12pm at Markley Cove, Steele Canyon, or Pope Creek Bridge.

A free lunch is included for registered participants following the cleanup.

Please direct questions or register offline to Marianne Butler at  or call (567) 674-5611.

These events are coordinated at the county level by Solano RCD and promoted through Cleanup Solano. Each community cleanup is an opportunity to make Solano County a better place. They also help students earn community service hours, enable clubs and service organizations to participate in an organized service project with a big impact, and for families, friends, and individuals to spend some quality time giving back to Solano County in the company of like-minded people.
