Agricultural Project Manager

Agricultural Project Manager

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team and take the lead on working with County, State, and local partners to implement a variety of grant-funded projects on primarily working lands. The Agricultural Project Manager will work closely with farmers, ranchers, and related stakeholders to plan, evaluate, and implement best management practices on their operations that improve soil health and climate resiliency, conserve water use, improve water quality and groundwater recharge, and enhance wildlife habitat. Solano RCD is looking for educators to join our environmental education team for the 2023-2024 school year. Program Educators work to ignite curiosity and inspire children and teens to explore, understand, and care for their local watersheds. This is a perpetually open position and we are always looking for applicants excited to teach Solano County youth about their watersheds. Education Program Intern (in partnership with UC-Davis)

Education Program Intern (in partnership with UC-Davis)

The Education Program Intern will learn about facilitating a variety of water-focused environmental education programs provided to school-age youth throughout Solano County. The intern will develop teaching skills, learn how to develop children's curiosity, and inspire them to explore, understand, and care for their local watershed. The intern will receive training and does not need prior knowledge in natural history or ecology.
This position is offered in partnership with the Center for Watershed Sciences at UC-Davis and is open to UC-Davis students only. The internship runs mid-August through mid-December, with an option to continue through February. See our position description to learn more and for instructions on how to apply.
